Amatel is currently seeking one or more Data Transcript Engineers to fulfill expected obligations with our clients.

Description
Create exchange data, which consists of getting customer requirements, hardware allocation data from the floor plan specification, and translating them in command files. Candidates must have experience with creating exchange data and must be able to work independently on complex projects. Other activities include loading or assist in loading exchange data into telecom switches, provide engineering support to determine interface requirements for switches in the network, assist in locating and correcting faults or problems with the data produced, and participate in researching new application systems and improving DT Methods and Procedures.

Qualified candidates will be expected to work with little or no direct supervision and may be asked to work on multiple projects simultaneously. Successful candidates will possess good interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, and a strong analytical ability.

Requirements
BSEE, EET or equivalent experience in related translations or testing environment or 1-4 years in a Data Transcript environment or related area. Very organized and takes initiative. Ability and willingness to travel and work overtime as required.
